We had to make predictions about what was going to make a shadow. We used foil, cardboard, paper, clear plastic lid, plastic bag and wax paper. Next we tested our predictions. We discovered...
* not all things make shadows (transparent objects don't make shadows because the light can get through them easily)
* some shadows are darker than others (translucent things can make lighter shadows because some light can get through them)
* if something is opaque it does not let light shine through it
We had a great morning working
